Betdaq was founded in 2000 and is the second largest betting exchange after betfair. It struggled for liquidity in early years, meaning it was hard to place a bet with the exchange sometimes, however, as betdaq have become firmly established alongside betfair, liquidity has improved and you are able to find betting matches on most outcomes. Betdaq was established by Irish Tycoon Dermot Desmond in 2000. Desmond is credited as being one of Irelands most successful entrepreneurs amassing a fortune close to £1.5bn. Betdaq’s head office is in Dublin, Ireland.

Betdaq differ from most of their competition, due to the service they offer.
